​An undertaking provided by the Bank on behalf of a buyer to a seller that guarantees payment to the seller if terms and conditions are complied with.

To apply, kindly fulfill the below requirements:

  • Applicant must have an Import LC facility line opened and active with Al Salam Bank.
  • Applicant must have an active Account with Al Salam Bank.
  • Applicant must fill the provided LC Facility application form or LC Amendment Form in case of amendment to existing LC, stamp it and have it signed by authorized signatories.
  • Applicant must attach a copy of the proforma invoice.
  • In the case of delivery by road – Applicant must fill the below Truck Indemnity form, stamp it and have it signed by authorized signatories.
  • Applicant must fill the Agency Agreement, stamp it and have it signed by authorized signatories.
  • Applicant must submit the above-mentioned documents at the Trade Finance Desk.

Under this product the client may issue a Letter of Credit without the prerequisite of having a Letter of Credit facility.

To apply, kindly fulfill the below requirements:

  • Applicant must have an active account with Al Salam Bank with sufficient funds to cover the required cash margin and charges.
  • Applicant must fill the below LC Application (Cash Margin) or LC Amendment Form in case of amendment of existing LC, stamp it and have it signed by authorized signatory. 
  • Applicant must fill the attached Margin Authorization Letter, stamp it and have it signed by authorized signatory.
  • In the case of delivery by road – Applicant must fill the below Truck Indemnity form, stamp it and have it signed by authorized signatories.
  • Applicant must attach the proforma invoice. 
  • Applicant must submit the above-mentioned documents at the Trade Finance Desk.

Required Documents


An export documentary Letter of Credit is a document whereby your buyer instructs their designated Bank to make a payment to you, if the agreed conditions specified in the original documentary credit, are met. It is an internationally accepted method of settling Trade Payments.


The handling of Domestic Sales and Export Documents, which are presented to the Bank by the Seller/Exporter to collect payment from a buyer through the buyer’s designated Bank.

To apply, kindly fulfill the below requirements:

  • Applicant must have an active account with Al Salam Bank.
  • Applicant must prepare a cover letter listing the collection documents and stating the payment instructions.
  • Applicant must attach the cover letter to the collection documents.
  • Applicant must submit the above-mentioned requirements at the Trade Finance Desk.


Handling of inward documents received from a seller for presentation to a buyer, either for immediate payment or the acceptance of usance Bills of Exchange for payment at a future date.


An undertaking by the Bank on behalf of the applicant to pay the Beneficiary an agreed sum in the event the applicant fails or defaults in fulfillment of their obligations under the terms and conditions of a contract or agreement with the Beneficiary.

To apply, kindly fulfill the below requirements:

  • Applicant must have a Letter of Guarantee facility line with Al Salam Bank.
  • Applicant must have an active account with Al Salam Bank. 
  • Applicant must fill the below LG Application (Facility) form or LG amendment form in case of amendment of existing Guarantee, stamp it and have it signed by the Authorized Signatories. 
  • Applicant must fill the below Guarantee text form (Choose the appropriate type as per your business requirements). Or attach pre-approved text, stamp it and have it signed by authorized signatories. 
  • Applicant must submit the above-mentioned documents at the Trade Finance Desk.

Required Documents


​Under this product, the client can request a Letter of Credit issuance and at the same time request the Bank to finance the underlying product by settling the invoices once received from the seller under the Letter of Credit.

To apply, kindly fulfill the below requirements:

  • Applicant must have an LC Murabaha facility line available with Al Salam Bank. 
  • Applicant must have an active account with Al Salam Bank. Applicant must fill the below LC Murabaha Form, or LC Amendment Form in case of amendment to an existing LC, stamp it and have it signed by authorized signatories. 
  • Applicant must attach copy of the proforma invoice. 
  • In case of delivery by road – Applicant must fill the below Truck Indemnity form, stamp it and have it signed by authorized signatories. 
  • Applicant must fill the below agency agreement, stamp it and have it signed by authorized signatories. 
  • Applicant must submit the above-mentioned documents at the Trade Finance Desk.

Document required



T​his product is used to finance the advance payments requested by a seller before the shipping of goods.

To apply, kindly fulfill the below requirements:

  • Applicant must have an Inventory Murabaha facility line with AL Salam Bank.
  • Applicant must have an active account with Al Salam Bank.
  • Applicant must fill the attached forms (Cover Letter for Inventory and Equipment Murabaha and Identification and Promise to Purchase Notice), stamp them and have them signed by authorized signatories.
  • Applicant must fill the Agency Agreement, stamp it and have it signed by authorized signatories.
  • Applicant must attach copy of the proforma invoice.
  • Applicant must submit the above-mentioned documents at the Trade Finance Desk.


This product is used to finance invoices of already received or shipped products.

To apply, kindly fulfill the below requirements:

  • Applicant must have a WCM-F facility line with AL Salam Bank.
  • Applicant must have an active account with Al Salam Bank.
  • Applicant must fill the below (Form of Capital Request Notice and Business Plan, CPM Request, Fund Transfer request). Stamp them and have them signed by authorized signatories.
  • Applicant must attach copy of the shipping documents.
  • Applicant must submit the above-mentioned documents at the Trade Finance Desk.

​Under this product the client is able to issue a Letter of Guarantee without the prerequisite of having a Letter of Guarantee facility.

To apply, kindly fulfill the below requirements:

  • Applicant must have an active account with Al Salam Bank with sufficient fund to cover the required cash margin and charges.
  • Applicant must fill the Cash Margin form.
  • Applicant must fill the below Guarantee text form (Choose the appropriate type as per your business requirements). Or attach pre-approved text, stamp it and have it signed by Authorized Signatories.
  • Applicant must fill the below Guarantee Margin Authorization Latter.
  • Applicant must submit the above-mentioned documents at the Trade Finance Desk.
