Al Salam Bank Social Media Contest Terms and Conditions:

By participating in any of Al Salam Bank B.S.C. (the “Bank”) social media contests, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions shall govern all social media contests that may be held by the Bank on any of its official social media channels.
The social media contest details, including eligibility criteria, prize details, duration, and any other relevant information, will be announced by the Bank through a live contest on its official social media platform(s) and/or through posts on its official social media channels (collectively “Official Announcements”).
The Bank reserves the right to amend, modify or clarify the social media contest details at any time through additional Official Announcements.
Winners in any of the social media contests will be announced through Official Announcements and if necessary, contacted by the Bank using the details provided during participation or through direct messages on the social media platform used for the contest or any other method deemed appropriate by the Bank.
Before collecting the prize, winners must provide proof of identity as required by the Bank to verify their eligibility. Failure to provide satisfactory proof of identity may result in disqualification, and the Bank reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
Prizes awarded or won in any of the social media contests are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and may not be substituted for cash unless stated otherwise in the Official Announcements. All cash prizes will be credited to the existing or newly created Danat account of the winner. The Bank shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or non-receipt of a prize due to incorrect participant details or failure to collect the prize within the stipulated timeframe.
Participants must have a valid social media account.
Participants must be residents of the Kingdom of Bahrain. If a winner was selected who happens not to be a resident of the Kingdom of Bahrain, another winner will randomly be selected.
The Bank shall not be held responsible and/or liable in whatsoever way for any restriction(s) imposed or may be imposed by virtue of any laws, regulations, etc. of any authority (whether governmental or non-governmental) with respect to the winners claiming any of their prizes under the social media contests.
For the avoidance of doubt, the youth clients aged from 10 years old and below 18 years old shall be represented by their natural guardian (or legally authorized guardian) with respect to the participation in any social media contests, accepting and collecting any prizes won hereunder, signing any and all required forms and applications if any and/or any other dealing(s) with the Bank, unless otherwise permitted by the applicable laws.
Should the social media contest be held in a live session, the Bank will record the live session. In the event of any dispute or discrepancy, the Bank’s records shall prevail in the absence of manifest error. The Bank’s decisions regarding all aspects of the social media contest, including participant eligibility, winner selection, and prize allocation, shall be final and binding on all participants.
The Bank’s employees, directors and their immediate family members (spouses, 1st degree descendants and parents) are not eligible to participate in any of the Bank’s social media contest.
The Bank reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates these Terms and Conditions or engages in fraudulent or misleading conduct.
By participating in any of the social media contest, the participants consent and authorize the Bank to use their username and/or profile picture in any future social media posts.
The Bank shall not be liable for any technical failures, network disruptions, or other issues beyond its control that may affect participation in the social media contest.
The terms and conditions of the social media contest shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the extent that such laws are not repugnant to the principles of Islamic Shari’a in which case the principles of Islamic Shari’a shall prevail and any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
