Al Salam Bank proudly announces the graduation of Basma Mustafa from the Treasury and Financial Institutions Department, who successfully completed the National Executive Leadership Program for Bahraini Women — a national initiative led by Tamkeen in partnership with HEC Paris.
This program, designed to strengthen the presence of Bahraini women in leadership and decision-making roles, equips participants with advanced executive capabilities and strategic leadership skills, aligning with the Kingdom's broader vision for sustainable development and inclusion.
Commenting on the occasion, Ms. Muna Al Balooshi, Head of Human Resources and Administration at Al Salam Bank, stated: "At Al Salam Bank, we take pride in empowering our national talent, particularly the remarkable women who continue to thrive in leadership roles. Today's recognition of Basma Mustafa is a reflection of our institutional commitment to investing in Bahraini capabilities and fostering a supportive work environment that encourages professional growth. We firmly believe that empowering Bahraini women is a cornerstone of our mission to build a sustainable and inclusive financial sector."
Commenting on her experience, Basma said: "Participating in this program has been a transformative milestone in my professional journey. The exposure to strategic frameworks and leadership tools has greatly enriched my perspective. I'm deeply grateful to Tamkeen and the program partners for this opportunity, and to Al Salam Bank for its continuous support and encouragement."
In continuation of its commitment to empowering female leaders, Al Salam Bank is also proud to share that two of its employees—Aldana Bu Shehab from the Finance Department and Hesa Salem from the Internal Audit Department—have commenced recently their journey in the third group of the Executive Leadership Program. Their participation reflects the Bank's ongoing efforts to cultivate leadership across departments and ensure sustained female representation in executive roles.
Al Salam Bank reaffirms its commitment to empowering Bahraini talent and supporting the advancement of women into leadership roles—contributing to a more inclusive and progressive workforce across the financial sector.
