Al Salam Bank has recently won “Best Retail Bank in Bahrain” from the MEA Finance Awards 2023, for the second consecutive year. This achievement underscores the Bank’s various milestones in digitization, in addition to its commitment to simplifying its retail services and delivering an enriching, personalized banking experience.

The MEA Finance Awards recognizes leading banking and financial institutions in digital transformation. Al Salam Bank has demonstrated continued excellence across its innovative retail digital services, further supported by its forward-thinking digitally-native approach focused on meeting the needs of its clients to create an unparalleled banking experience.

As part of its commitment to humanizing the client experience, Al Salam Bank continuously strives to reward its loyal clients by launching a number of prize campaigns and exclusive offers, in addition to the Danat Savings Scheme released annually with bigger and additional prizes. The Bank has recently launched the latest edition of the prize scheme for 2024 with the biggest prizes in the Kingdom. Clients have the opportunity to win four grand prizes, including a salary prize worth BD 20,000, a luxurious waterfront villa from Al Naseem located in Diyar Al Muharraq, and two cash prizes worth BD 1 million for each winner.

Over the past year, Al Salam Bank has also initiated several strategic partnerships, including its agreement with Informa Markets, a global events and exhibition organizer, making the Bank the official sponsor and exclusive banking and finance institution at select Informa Markets exhibitions, including the Autumn Fair, Jewellery Arabia, and Scent Arabia. Additionally, Al Salam Bank provides a comprehensive range of digital payment solutions to enable both participants and visitors of the exhibitions to complete their financial transactions easily, in addition to reducing their usage of cash in line with its sustainability goals.

The Bank has also partnered with Solidarity Bahrain to launch Al Salam Takaful, which gives clients a wide range of Sharia-compliant insurance products. Individuals benefit from fire, auto, travel, domestic helper, pleasure craft, personal accident insurance, and group medical health for families. The collaboration further positioned the Bank as a one-stop-shop for banking and insurance products.

Al Salam Bank is dedicated to investing in the career development of its employees by launching several internal training initiatives. In 2023, the Bank launched its Retail Academy, a training program in collaboration with leading trainers in the field, Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF), as well as Asas Training and Roaa for Training & Consulting.
