\u200bH.E. Rasheed Mohammed Al Maraj received a
\n number of employees from Al Salam Bank at the Central Bank of Bahrain
\n(CBB) as they prepared for the final stages of an Executive Capacity
\nBuilding Program organized by Al Salam Bank and Bahrain Institute of
\nBanking and Finance (BIBF). <\/span><\/p>\n

Also present were Al Salam Bank Group CEO
\nMr. Rafik Nayed, BIBF Director Dr. Ahmed Al Shaikh and other CBB and Al
\nSalam Bank officials.<\/p>\n

The customized one-year course is designed to pr\u200bepare high-caliber
\nexecutives to take on leadership positions within Al Salam Bank, and the
\n officials met to discuss capacity building and the grooming of future
\nindustry leaders in this context.<\/p>\n

Mr. Al-Maraj expressed his praise and appreciation to Al Salam Bank and
\nBIBF for this initiative to develop Bahraini talent and prepare them for
\n leadership positions in the future, and wished the participants success
\n in their future endeavors. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Governor also reiterated the CBB\u2019s
\nkeenness on all efforts that support the development of Bahraini
\nemployees and their progression into leadership positions in the
\nfinancial sector and how future leaders must prepare themselves to deal
\nwith the rapid developments witnessed by the sector including the
\nintroduction of financial technology in banking operations.<\/p>\n

Participants are set to travel to London next week for the final part of
\n the program, which includes industry visits and lectures at CASS
\nBusiness School. <\/span><\/p>\n

This will be followed by six months of coaching
\nsessions with executive coaches from global accounting and consulting
\nfirm, Grant Thornton. The program will assist Al Salam Bank\u2019s human
\nresources and senior management identify potential internal candidates
\nto fill key leadership positions, and provide them with development
\nopportunities that will help them succeed. <\/span><\/p>\n

 Mr. Rafik Nayed commented: \u201cBahrain has one of the most diversified

\nimportant role in supporting the Kingdom\u2019s future growth and prosperity.
