Al Salam Bank recently welcomed a delegation of students from Ibn Khuldoon National School with the aim of introducing them to the Bank’s daily operations and the industry’s overall workflow.
To further enhance the school’s career guidance efforts, the visit familiarized over 20 students from grades 10 and 11 with the dynamics of a banking environment, as well as important Islamic banking terms and the roles of various departments in the Bank. The students also had the opportunity to ask questions and learn from a number of banking specialists and employees.
The field trip included a visit to the Bank’s virtual branch where the students were shown the operational mechanisms behind the branch, thereby enhancing their overall understanding of banking operations.
On the occasion, Ms. Muna Al Balooshi, Head of Human Resources and Administration at Al Salam Bank, said: “We are pleased to continue hosting students from across various schools in the Kingdom where we can showcase our operations and client servicing efforts. The visit highlights our commitment to supporting the education and career development of the next generation of industry leaders in our community. We believe that by sharing our experiences, we can inspire these students to hone their skills and nurture their talents to achieve their dreams.”
In line with Al Salam Helping Hands and its Guiding Principle “We Act with Empathy”, Al Salam Bank is committed to adopting innovative and educational initiatives that will contribute to creating informed generations armed with the knowledge to enter the future labor market.
