Manama, Bahrain – 9 November 2025: Al Salam Bank proudly hosted its
“Dinar for Dinar 2025” initiative at its headquarters in support of Breast and Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, uniting employees from across the Bank in a powerful display of compassion, solidarity, and purpose. The initiative successfully raised BD 3,000 through generous employee contributions, which will go towards supporting cancer research and patient care in Bahrain. This effort reflects the Bank’s ongoing commitment to supporting meaningful causes that make a positive impact on society and is a clear expression of one of its core pillars: “We act with empathy.”
The event was honored by the presence of Dr. Ejlaal Alalawi, CEO of Health Centers, Dr. Wafa Ajoor, Head of the Patient Support Committee of the Bahrain Cancer Society and Fatima Alkhan, Secretary General of the Society, whose participation added great value to the occasion. Their insights highlighted the importance of early detection, education, and continued advocacy in the fight against cancer. The headquarters was transformed into a vibrant hub of awareness and solidarity, adorned in shades of pink and blue to mark Breast and Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, and featuring wellness activities, educational booths, and donation stations that encouraged staff participation and contribution.
