Al Salam Bank, the pioneering Shari’a
compliant bank in the Kingdom, announced the first Danat Al Salam Grand
Prize winner of 2019, Hussain Abdulla Hussain, who won a luxury villa in
Muharraq in the semi-annual draw.

Banking, congratulated Mr. Hussain and presented him with the keys to
his new home.
Mr. Hussain, a Bahraini national school teacher, had planned to
gradually increase his investment to US$100,000 with the aim of buying a
land and getting married. He said: “Although I was trying hard to save
for the future, I only had a small amount put away. I thought it would
take years to reach my goal of buying a property.
Now thanks to
investing in Danat Al Salam, I am thrilled to own my own house. I look
forward to turning it into a home and finding a wife to share it with. I
never expected to win this prize, it’s an incredible feeling and I’m
very grateful to Al Salam Bank.”

Mr. Buhijji added: “We encourage all our customers to increase their

Customers will also be able to benefit from the attractive monthly
profit feature on their Danat balances. We also remind our customers
that the longer you invest, the greater your chances of winning as Danat
Al Salam account holders are entitled to further entries to the draw
for each additional month they invest.”
Danat savings scheme customers also have the opportunity to enter into
monthly draws for a chance to win the Gmash Grand Cash Prizes totaling
$50,000 and the Fusoos Cash Prizes totaling $86,500. Furthermore,
customers that hold or invest a minimum amount of BD 1,000 at specific
branches have the chance to win special branch draw prizes of BD 1,000.
To be eligible for the prize draw, customers need to open a Danat
savings account at any Al Salam Bank branch with a minimum deposit of
BD50 or apply through the online product application service

draws will be officiated by representatives from the Ministry of
Industry and Commerce and Tourism along with the internal and external
auditors and in accordance with Central Bank of Bahrain and Ministry of
Industry and Commerce and Tourism
